Robotic O-Ring Assembly Machine

Customer needed an automated machine to insert multiple O-rings and locking clips into a coupler for irrigation equipment. The machine consists of 2 Fanuc Robots with a 3-position indexing, turn table. The robots insert and check the position of each O-ring and locking ring. HighPoint provided the Electrical Engineering, Panel Build, and Programming of PLC, HMI and Fanuc Robots with Custom End of Arm (EoAT) for the project. A once very manual process has been automated, increasing quality and output for our customer.
